The Muslim American Leadership Alliance (MALA) seeks a full-time Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the organization. The Muslim American Leadership Alliance is a 501(c)3 civic and community organization committed to promoting individual freedom and diversity, and to celebrating Muslim American heritage. The Operations Manager will streamline the organization and help advance its mission through fundraising campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

Assist MALA leadership in driving organizational growth and impact;

Assist the president with fundraising goals, including donor research and grant applications;

Direct and lead the administrative team. Work closely with staff to improve operations and streamline work processes;

Develop and adhere to a calendar of engagement with key stakeholders and community groups;

Work with the Community Manager to elevate the national profile of the organization and its leadership through new initiatives, programs, events and projects;

Oversee operation and administration of organization including budgets, policies, human resources, written communications, and data collection;

Prepare, coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings;

Other relevant administrative duties, as assigned.

Strong communicator in written and verbal form;

Experience in Salesforce and Mailchimp a plus;

Experience in fundraising will be a plus;

Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions;

Strong project reporting skills.

Availability: Immediately. This job is work from home with occasional travel if needed.
