Location: Midtown Manhattan

Education: Bachelor s Degree or relevant experience

Experience: Minimum 4 years experience with a financial advisory firm

Req d Skills: MS Office proficiency (intermediate)

Desired Skills: Solid understanding of trade settlement process, auditing process, calculation of performance; knowledge of Advent APX or AXYS, MOXY, Rules Manager, CTM, DTCC

Description:

To provide quality operational support and development to a $32B Asset Management Company.

Responsibilities include:

Auditing, reconciliation of data to external/internal systems

Performance verification for composites and GIPS

Provide operational support including corporate action processing to external/internal systems, ACA (Advent Corporate Actions)

Domestic and International settlement confirmation/verification using CTM, DTCC, FIX

Investigate/resolve reconciliation issues

Ensure/maintain proper security set-up and data maintenance and integrity on systems Advent APX, MOXY, Rules Manager, CTM, ALERT

Liaison to clients, custodians and brokers

Undertake special projects and act as a liaison to technology and performance teams

Understanding of alternative investments, private equity and hedge funds

Candidate should be a highly organized person with good time management, follow-up and communication skills; they should be able to learn quickly, multi-task effectively, be detail oriented, an independent worker, self starter, forward thinker and team player. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and be professional and personable in relating to clients and co-workers in a business professional environment.
