The Office Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Lakelands front office. They are responsible for administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, and providing support to employees and management. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Essential functions

Managing incoming calls, reroute calls to the appropriate person or department while filtering out unnecessary calls.
Take messages or direct callers to voicemail as appropriate.
Assist customer walk-ins, delivery vendors and guests.
Prepare and mail all USPS/UPS/Fed Ex packages.
Serve as a receiver of mail or correspondence.
Operates office machines, such as photocopiers, scanners, computers, and tablets.
Responsible for office supply inventory.
Record keeping and ata management
Maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
Organize and archive documents in a systematic manner including filing.
Assist in data entry and management of information systems.
Invoice processing and collections calls.
Support HR initiatives and employee engagement activities.
May be called upon to assist with special projects as required.
Supply additional administrative and clerical support to the management team as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
Requirements
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, as well as type, talk and hear.
Required education and experience
1+ years of administrative/office experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred education and experience
Experience in a construction or manufacturing front office a plus.
A.S. degree a plus.
