Our client is a regulated utility that delivers gas and electricity to nearly half a million customers in New York State. They are looking for a Network Analyst who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. This is a hybrid position based in Kingston, NY.
Network Analyst s Responsibilities and Duties
- and implementing network architectures, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks, based on client requirements and industry best practices.
- and maintaining network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, to ensure seamless connectivity and data transmission.
- network performance and security, analyzing network traffic patterns, and identifying areas for optimization and improvement.

Network Analyst s Qualifications and Skills
- degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
- least 3 years of experience in network administration, design, and troubleshooting in a corporate environment.
- in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and VPNs.
- experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet products.
