Roles & Responsibilities Implementation and configuration of Enterprise network. Contribute to support the infrastructure technologies and standards includes routers, LAN switching, security, and Nexus Data CenterPerform Wireless Site Survey & WLAN planning using Ekahau Site Survey tool and deploy wireless infrastructure. Good Knowledge and understanding of IEEE 802.11 specifications (a/b/g/n/ac, SISO, MIMO)Resolve issues causing network latency and bandwidth in various locations.Analyze problems and devise solutions to the networking issues on daily basis. Maintaining minimum down time and maximum availability of the networkImplement, Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Unified CM phone system resolve call routing as per the needs of the Novelis Employees. (CUCM, Cisco IP Phones, Unity Connection, VoIP/IP telephony systems, software and hardware including specialized knowledge of Cisco products, VG350, SIP, TCP/IP and routing protocols)Document the network inventory management and Data center maintenance for the purpose of operational efficiency at Oswego location.Consult with Network Lead to work on the requirements as required.Perform the checks of dmesg boot logs for the compatibility of SFPs and configure the switch ports and check for valid mini-GBIC hardware compatibility on either ends.Design and execute the test plan for implementation of new devices and migration of server, distribution layer with minimal impact.Preferred certified in Cisco CCNA Security
