SMBC is in process of leading a Digital Transformation across our Americas Division as we continue to modernize our technology, focus on our data driven approach, grow and plan for the future.As a result of this expansion we are seeking a Senior Network Architect who will work as a part of our Architecture and Engineering group and will be responsible for the design, architecture and automation of on premise, wide area and Cloud networking solutions for SMBC and all group companies in the Americas Division. The ideal candidate is already experienced in cloud migrations and automation, and an advocate for the development and use of hybrid infrastructure.Responsibilities* Design and architecture of a multi-site, multi-cloud network infrastructure. Key member of the team responsible for designing and developing scalable and highly available global network architectures to meet the firm's business needs.* Develop scripts and processes to test, deploy and validate changes across all network infrastructure as code, leveraging Ansible and other approved corporate automation and orchestration platforms.* Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions.* Develop state of the art technology appropriate to deliver stable and scalable technical solutions.* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget.* Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation.* Contribute to standards and design patterns. Deliver solutions tailored to internal business requirements. Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required.* Provide 3rd level support and input as required to teams diagnosing reported issues, providing root cause analysis to management and the business teams.* Work closely with Senior management, Architecture, Application managers and IT operations teams.* Enhances efficiency via automation when and wherever possible.* Cross train other team members on projects, and network technologies.Qualifications* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience.* Strong network engineering and project delivery.* Advanced knowledge on configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, Cloud networking components.* Advanced knowledge on design and architecture of LAN, MAN, WAN and SDWAN SAN network topologies.* Advanced knowledge of routing protocols, DNS and DHCP. EIGRP, BGP, NAT, LACP, CDP, UDLD, VPC, DNS, DHCP .* Advanced knowledge on troubleshooting networking issues across data, cloud, voice and video, storage networks.* Knowledge on network management and monitoring platforms* Ability to support mixed data, voice, wireless and video networks.* Excellent communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and detail oriented.OptionsApply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
