Parallel Employment Group is looking for a skilled Mold Press Operator to join our team in the warehousing industry. As a Mold Press Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating machinery used to mold and shape plastic products. You'll work with a team to ensure the quality and efficiency of production, using your skills to troubleshoot and optimize equipment and processes. - Set up and operate machinery used in the molding process
- Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Troubleshoot and optimize equipment and processes to reduce production downtime
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Assist with other processes as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with mold press operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
