Your new role

  • Oversee and manage all electrical production and related craftworkers on electrical construction projects
  • Partner with project managers on working estimates and take-offs.
  • Lay out work for subordinate supervisors and lead people. Coordinate with the project manager so that material, tools, equipment, information and appropriate manpower are in the proper place in a timely fashion.
  • Establish work schedules and man-loading charts.
  • Interface with representatives of the General Contractor/Owner on day-to-day project scheduling and overall performance issues.
  • Provide general supervision to subordinate foremen engaged in the installation of electrical feeders; equipment such as pumps, motors, and generators; control and distribution apparatus such as switch gears, relays, and circuit breaker panels; lighting fixtures and outlets; and related connections and terminations

What you'll need to succeed

  • 7 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
  • Well-rounded MEP superintendent with a focus on electrical aspects of projects.
  • Project experience is in public works (i.e schools, Healthcare) would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work across the boroughs in New York.
  • Skilled at evaluating and analyzing problems to develop and implement solutions.
