New York Engineers - MEP Principal - With Equity

Job Mission

Become a partner at NY Engineers. Lead the MEP Engineering group of 5 Project Engineers in NYC + 30 in India. Be the engineer you always dreamed of being!

Ever had the dream of running your own MEP Engineering Team, being your own boss, having freedom to make you own hours, work from home, run your team in your image? Do you have your PE license and 10-20 years of MEP Engineering experience winning and running projects? Are you unfilled working for a large corporate MEP engineering firm, and know you are capable of much more?

This is a unique opportunity. We will market you and your group, and provide you with new project leads, you will win projects and manage the projects, we will provide you with a team of MEP engineers to produce the design. We will provide all back office support.

Responsibilities

Oversee $3M of existing MEP backlog projects

Oversee all HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing trades

Bring over a minimum of $750k annual revenue from your existing relationships

We will match you with an additional $750k of revenue from new clients and leads

Win new MEP engineering projects from inbound inquirers

Lead a global team of 30 engineers

Coordinate drawings between trades

Be personable, fun, outgoing, likeable

Schedule tasks for your team on our cloud-based system

Interface directly with clients at a meeting, on phone, and email

Check drawings for quality for all trades

Write proposals to clients for new projects

Bill clients for current work

Design review for code compliance, lowest construction cost, change order prevention

PE license is required

LEED, CEM, is a plus

Client Satisfaction - Net Promoter Score over +30

On-time / On-quality Client Delivery - 90%

Projects under management directly

Monthly MEP Group Cashflow - $60,000

Monthly MEP Group Wins - $300,000

Personal Growth

You will develop a blend of technical expertise, understanding MEP design, and the business side of engineering as well. You will become an expert at leading design and construction teams.

Compensation

Base Salary + 10% equity in the firm, which includes annual 10% profit sharing
