Healthcare Recruiters seeks full-time ONSITE Licensed or non-licensed Mental Health Clinicians for School-Based therapy work in several UPSTATE NY school districts

MUST be able to commute or relocate to the below cities - DO NOT apply if you can't relocate!

Requires licensure in NY or have a compact state licensure or able to easily obtain or are close to obtaining NY licensure. Salary based on Licensure and years of experience. WILL CONSIDER NEW MASTERS GRADS/UNLICENSED CANDIDATES for lower salary. Sign-on bonuses potentially offered!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engages child/family in a comprehensive assessment of strengths/needs of a child and family.
  • Provides evidence-based individual, group and family interventions entirely in school settings.
  • Develops treatment plans based on assessment of need.
  • Provides individual/group/family/therapies.
  • Facilitates crisis intervention services as clinically needed.
  • Meets or exceeds 60% billable direct service.
  • Complete collaborative documents as required by state/federal guidelines and agency policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with all school personnel.
  • Participates in staff meetings and continuing education activities.
  • Performs other duties as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's in mental/behavioral health, or social work is required.
  • Licensed as LMSW, LMHC, LCSW or LCSW-R in NY is preferred.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to easily work with children/families.
  • Previous experience providing psychotherapy (at least one year).
  • Works flexible hours to meet the needs of families (M-F days, no on-call and no weekends).
  • Valid NYS driver s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to coordinate services in different schools.
  • Ability to work independently.
