Date:2024 Summer Semester
Primary Purpose: This position is responsible for providing engaging, creative, and interactive instruction and coursework to HEOP pre-freshman students, during a 4-week summer program, who received a New York state high school diploma. The instruction provides developmental and remedial support designed to prepare students for college-level course work.
Job Duties:
+ Being available to teach a math course 5 days a week, Monday Friday.
+ Providing a syllabus that includes topics being taught during the summer program.
+ Attending weekly staff meetings with the HEOP team and other professors from the program.
+ Providing weekly grades and behavioral reports during the staff meetings.
+ Providing a final exam and a final grade for the students at the end of the summer program.
+ Attending faculty orientation.

End Date:August 2, 2024
Pay:$3000 stipend for the summer.
Hours:10 hours per week.
