Job Description:

MarTech SME/Developer

NY/NJ- Hybrid

Hiring Mode: Only FTE (preferably, non sponsored profiles).

Mandatory Skills: GA, GTM and Braze. mParticle

  • Below is the JD where we need to have all these skills for this role.
  • Couple of them can be primary and rest can be secondary.
  • But prior experience will be required to pick things up.
  • Time zone must be EST.
  • Background: Our client uses Google Analytics (analytics), Google Tag Manager (tagging), Braze (campaign management), mParticle (CDP) and Snowflake (DW) as the different tools in Martech suite of products. Candidate should have at least hands-on expertise on GA, GTM and Braze. mParticle even if he hasn t worked hands-on but if he has experience in CDP solutions practice can potentially train him on mParticle.
  • Experience in retail B2C industry digital applications a must.
  • Experience in transactional applications vs content applications (similar to pharma etc.,) is a must.
  • Experience managing MarTech across omni-channel applications like website, mobile apps, ipad is a must.
  • Excellent communication and prior experience working directly with business stakeholders on design, development, rollout and review responses is a must.

For candidate filtration we need to validate the below pointers:

  • Data Migration
  • Data Management across platforms
  • Customer profiling and duplications
  • What kind of Martech applications the candidate has experience in? (specifically ask about GA, GTM, Braze, mParticle experience of the candidate?)
  • What kind of applications he/she had worked on? (eCommerce or content-based sites)?
  • What is the quantum of daily unique visitors to the digital applications?
  • What was his team structure? Was he working directly with product or through a lead?
  • Does he interface with product management team? In what capacity?
  • How many campaigns in each month he is responsible for creating and reviewing the responses to the campaign?
  • Does he have experience working with offshore teams?

Additional Inputs from Neeti:

The goal is to understand how all the systems are connected, how to use the platforms, how to transfer data from one platform to another and to understand when the transfer of data needs to take place. In getting up to speed with these responsibilities I am working with POC who is the current SME from the vendor on how to support gathering requirements, manipulating data collection, understand maintenance responsibilities and when where and how transfer of data to necessary platforms in answering future business questions.

Identification of Key Knowledge Areas:

  • The key knowledge areas of transfer will include mParticle, Braze, GTM and GA4. This could also possibly include Email Opt-Ins, Migrations of Platforms, Guest Unifications and Kiosk Data Collection and Reporting.
  • The core priority of these items will be MParticle and Braze migration of data into GTM and GA4,
