ASR International Corporation (ASR) is looking to add a Business Development Specialist/Professional at our Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.
Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Analyze and assess business development opportunities and open the door to those opportunities.
- Help open the door to new companies offering First Article Inspection support.
- Speak to/qualify companies to be partners.
- Review and analyze related RFPs and SOWs to determine feasibility.
- Perform market research for opportunities to determine win threshold.
- Create must have experiences related to job specific requirements.
- Connect/communicate with key stakeholders in oil & gas, aviation, and other industries around the country for opportunities available.
- Serve as Point of Contact for some contracts ensuring all requirements are met to terms of the contract
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree
- Strong understanding of QA/QC, First Article Inspection, Supplier Quality Inspections, or willing to learn the concepts with minimal instruciton
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with service-based industries/contracts
- Ability to learn quickly new standards and concepts
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, and serve in multiple roles with a dedication to overall progress of the company.
