Job DescriptionPosition Title: Marketing Coordinator - Global EventsLocation: New York City, NYYour role As a key member of our global marketing team, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Global Events. This role places you at the heart of our dynamic North American & the Global Corporate marketing team which includes a diverse array of specialists. You'll engage in a broad range of activities from managing event logistics to supporting administrative tasks across the Global Events portfolio.Your ability to navigate multiple aspects of the marketing and events spectrum-shifting smoothly between creative endeavors, logistical challenges, and administrative duties-will be crucial. This position is perfect for an adaptive individual looking to grow in a multinational environment, offering significant opportunities to develop organizational and coordination skills while contributing to major event-driven marketing strategies.What you'll do
  • Event Support: Manage all logistical aspects of a full calendar of events, including shipping, vendor management, and onsite support. Regularly handle and transport heavy boxes and event materials as part of routine duties. Assist in pre-production and post-event wrap-ups to ensure successful event execution.
  • Inventory and Logistics Management: Take charge of the global events inventory, overseeing stock levels and implementing a robust tracking system for precise management. Handle global shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery to event locations. Regularly manage and transport heavy boxes, maintaining organization and supporting seamless execution across global venues.
  • Administrative Excellence: Handle administrative responsibilities related to event management including accounting tasks like creating POs, processing invoices, and vendor payments and researching vendors. Maintain detailed financial and logistic records.
  • Marketing Support: Coordinate with the global events team to manage event websites, invites and emails, handle marketing materials, and support brand visibility efforts. Assist in organizing and executing marketing-related projects and communication across stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Work closely with global events and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of tasks. Provide support in organizing team activities, managing schedules, provide support in T&E and ensuring communication flows efficiently.
What you'll need
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in administrative or logistics-focused roles, preferably within an events or marketing context.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the capability to work effectively within a team.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and any relevant software used for logistics and event management.
  • A demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
Desirable:
  • Background in accounting or financial management related to event logistics.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Creative skills with familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
