Marketing and Events Specialist - Part-TimeRidge, NYNew York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is a dynamic and growing organization dedicated to delivering compassionate cancer care closer to home. We are looking for a part-time, motivated and enthusiastic Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team. If you are passionate about marketing, event planning, and have excellent organizational and communication skills, we want to hear from you!As a Part-Time Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and promotion of our marketing initiatives and events. You will work closely with the Marketing Director and Events Manager to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns and events that align with our brand's goals and values. You will play a pivotal role in increasing community awareness of NYCBS' services and become an active face in the community on a part-time, year-round, flexible schedule.
In this role you will:- Assist in the organization, and execution of company events, including conferences, seminars, product launches, and social gatherings.
- Promote NYCBS in community settings and at events, including but not limited to; health and wellness events, walks/fundraisers, holiday events, street fairs, etc.
- Set up and break down event displays, coordinating visual aids and marketing materials to maintain our brand presence.
- Work alongside volunteers to provide information and resources to the public.
- Engage with event attendees and speakers to foster meaningful connections.
- Coordinate event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, guest lists, and entertainment as needed.
- Provide event updates and feedback to the Marketing team to help improve events, promotion strategies, grow community engagement and awareness
- Promote events and marketing campaigns through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and sponsors.
We require:- Previous experience in marketing, event planning, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Experience in any type of promotional marketing, event management, volunteer work, brand ambassador, sales, customer service, or retail is preferred but not required
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed for events is a must.
- Must be able to lift up up to 25lbs
- Valid NYS Driver's License
