Position Summary:

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and communication strategies to promote products, services, and brands. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of various marketing channels. The Marketing and Communications Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging across all platforms.

Essential Expectations and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication plans to support brand objectives, products and services, and promotional campaigns.

Create compelling content for various marketing channels including but not limited to websites, social media, email newsletters, and advertising materials.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and brand consistency.

Manage social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking.

Plan and facilitate logistics for internal and external events including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, catering, entertainment, decoration, equipment, and marketing materials.

Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and media partners to execute marketing campaigns effectively.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive positioning opportunities.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics tools.

Build and maintain a comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors and venues for event planning purposes.

Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing communications.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing communications, with a focus on digital marketing, content creation, and brand management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft content for various audiences and channels.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, content management systems (CMS), and analytics.

Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of developing innovative marketing communication strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Proactive attitude with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and continuous learning.
