Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Both day and night- 12 hour shifts available Supervise 15-30 employees in Molding and Assembly Operations. Coach employees and foster a culture of engagement and accountability. Coordinate the Production Floor operations comprised of molding (with and without IML) Assign employees responsibilities and machine assignments daily Communication at beginning of shift with updates on EHS, quality, staffing and production activity. Follow up on all manufacturing problems, cost overruns, etc. relevant to labor, material. Attend management team meetings and EHS meetings. Assist with process, tool shop, and maintenance departments. Monitor the operations and make recommendations for cost effective changes to existing methods to improve safety, production, quality and manufacturing Track and maintain attendance variations in accordance with company policy, timekeeping records in Kronos, vacation requests and needed coverage. Maintain employee performance records and make recommendations on wage adjustments, promotions, or terminations. Motivate associates in the interest of safety regulations, productivity, quality, morale, and good housekeeping in accordance with company Ability to lead teams and complete special projects Designate,direct, and train hourly employees Follow and enforce applicable HR, EHS, Food Safety and cGMP Qualifications High School diploma or GED Associate's degree in business, manufacturing supervision, or related field preferred but not required. Five years or more of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Computer literate, knowledge of: Outlook, Teams, Excel, and JDE preferred. Ability to multi-task and coordinate activities with other departments while maintaining a positive 'can do' attitude Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to speak to large groups.
