We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our client's team a few miles outside of Rochester, NY! As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and developing internal projects across various functions within our organization. While this role currently doesn't entail direct reports, it carries significant leadership responsibilities and offers the opportunity to shape the direction of their business!

Base Salary: $90,000-$95,000/yr.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Develop clear project specifications, detailed plans, and accurate budgets for a diverse range of projects spanning engineering development, manufacturing, and business growth.

Lead the planning and implementation of changes to current manufacturing lines and facilities or the establishment of new manufacturing facilities.

Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution.

Provide strategic analysis and insights to support the company's direction and tactical initiatives.

Drive the development and implementation of projects aligned with our strategic goals.

Foster a Lean Culture and promote fact-based problem-solving techniques.

Manage project spending against budget and adapt to changes in production volume.

Collaborate closely with the management team and oversee any outsourced functions.

Review and approve capital appropriation requests in alignment with budgetary constraints.

Job Qualifications:

5+ Years of experience in project management within the manufacturing sector, preferably electromechanical or motor manufacturing, required.

Proven track record of successful

Leadership and team-building skills are essential.

Experience in motor manufacturing is advantageous.

Previous involvement in planning and implementing new manufacturing sites is required.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, required, MBA preferred.

Lean Certification, desired.

Experience with acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.

Knowledge and experience with ISO 9000 or equivalent quality systems.

Familiarity with AC motors and drives for pumps is beneficial.

Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing operations.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Project.
