Imagine Staffing is recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager on behalf of our client, a worldwide leader in high-performance heat transfer solutions. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering competitive pay plus bonus, a dynamic work culture and great benefits!

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering activities within the manufacturing facility, ensuring that products are produced to meet safety & quality standards, production schedules, and cost objectives.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team (Capital Expenditure Operational Excellence - Programming BOM/Routers) , providing guidance, mentoring, and training to ensure the team's success and professional growth.

Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production safety, quality & efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, design engineering, production, supply chain and quality assurance & others to develop and implement new products (NPI), equipment or processes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, six sigma and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.

Monitor and analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.

Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.

Develop and manage the manufacturing engineering budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control.

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new technologies, materials, and equipment to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.

Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize production output.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.

Demonstrated experience in process improvement, lean-Six Sigma manufacturing, the Toyota Production System and project management, certifications preferred.

Knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment.

Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
