Position Overview

Freedom Capital Markets (FCM) is the investment banking and equity capital markets arm of Prime Executions, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Freedom Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: FRHC), an internationally diversified financial services company. FCM is looking for Senior Equity Research Analysts in the Healthcare, Industrials, Consumer, and Software sectors.

Business Overview

  • Through our rapidly expanding US Capital Markets business, we are committed to providing clients with a full suite of investor services including Research, Sales and Trading, Corporate Services, and Advisory. We are positioning ourselves as a bespoke solutions hub for small-cap public and private companies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide formal independent investment recommendations to asset managers through published reports and financial models.
  • Responsible for building, reviewing, and maintaining financial databases and models, analyzing company and industry data, constructing a differentiated investment thesis, and cultivating a commercial relationship with corporate issuers.
  • Drive our corporate access offering through exposure to company management, investor conferences, and bespoke, tailored events.
  • Provide mentorship to our existing team of internationally based junior analysts in Europe and Central Asia, raising the profile and quality of our current products and services.
  • Collaborate with Senior management on our continued US market expansion and product offerings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study.
  • 10+ years of experience in buy-side or sell-side equity analysis.
  • Expertise in financial and business performance models.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree, CFA, CPA, or international equivalent.
  • Understanding the idiosyncrasies of the small-cap equity market.

FINRA Registrations Required

  • Series 7, 63, 86, 87

Reporting Relationships

The Managing Director, Senior Research Analyst reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Location

New York Hybrid

The successful candidate is preferred to be geographically accessible to our New York office. However, there is the flexibility that this individual could work some of the time from a home office situation.

Compensation

An expected salary range between $175,000-$225,000 plus bonuses annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on a number of factors. Freedom Capital Markets also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
