About the Role

The Manager, Retailer.com will be responsible for managing and driving Retailer.com (online) sales for Clinique across a portfolio of department store Retailer.com accounts, including Nordstrom, Ulta, Ulta@Target, Belk, Boscovs, Saks and Neiman Marcus.

Reporting to the Director of Retailer.com, this role will also contribute and participate in brands retail strategy and planning meetings, exploring and leading seasonal digital marketing program opportunities, leading up marketing support for basic business, product launches, promotions, and strategic digital initiatives. This role will manage all aspects of Clinique retailer.com business from online offers (ex: sampling, GWP), securing and capturing exposure, partner on brand boutique refreshes and development to ensure deadline and goals have been successfully accomplished. This role will work closely with Global and Clinique NA Account Management, Planners, Marketing, Consumer Engagment and Creative to achieve overall business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and maintain monthly Retailer Refresh and Side by Side Calendars. Review and strategize all programs to ensure plan is met.

Maintain and distribute changes to Retailer Refresh Calendars to track business and keep boutiques updated and fresh.

Create a best in class brand boutique experience with conversion driven assets: product description & images, educational content and videos. Work with cross-functional teams and manage specific asset needs by retailer.

Monitor retailer.com business to achieve fiscal sales goals, tracking individual accounts monthly sales targets and securing best initiatives as needed to meet sales and brand goals (eg market share gains, increased equity and brand differentiation, etc).

Identify opportunities to build business and drive retailer.com business to achieve sales and brand goals, unique to beauty category

Work with field team to support and manage the creation and execution of all promotional activities and merchandising strategy (launches and re-promotes).

Liaise with retailer and NA team to strategize participation in promotional activity, merchandising strategy, in store program adaptation, seasonal planning, etc.

Host monthly/weekly calls with each retailer to review online business, and other business topics such as product launch details, boutique site updates, sampling as well as issue detailed recaps.

Secure samples for retailer programs and work thru NA Marketing and Account Leads & Planners to source and ship samples in a timely manner, kitting/bundling as necessary.

Manage implementation and QA of promotion plans for retail partners and measurement of online marketing/promotion success

Escalate issues or enhancements and suggest partner site improvements to retailer.com team and brand partners

Work with retail partners to obtain analytics on retailer programs as well as overall sales goals/strategies.

Manage Sponsored Product Campaigns with vendor to drive business with select Retailers.

Provide monthly business recaps including successful programs or working with NA on offset strategy for any liabilities.

Support creation of presentation decks for upper management.

**Qualifications**

QUALIFICATIONS

Position requires minimum of 5+ years experience in the retailer, online marketing or ecommerce area. College degree required.

Working knowledge of retail business acumen and ecommerce best practices

Strategic thinker with an ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence across groups.

Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Strong organizational skills; Pro-active problem solving abilities.

Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong business writing skills, including powerpoint.

Aptitude for working with Internet tools (i.e. web-based reports, databases and various multimedia technologies).

Experience in online marketing and merchandising.

Understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools.
