This Series B backed digital health tech startup is based out of NYC. Having launched 3 years ago, our products are live in over 30 states with a short path to 40 states. We have a lean and entrepreneurial team compromised of investors and operators.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and talented teammate to join a lean finance/strategy SWAT team who will help to guide strategic, operational, and financial decision making across the organization. This role has limitless growth potential and reports directly to the Head of Finance. You will help in ideating, tracking and ultimately managing financial and strategic resources to achieve company goals. The Strategic Finance position is ideal for highly motivated and gritty individuals who function with confidence in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment. The Associate/Director will have direct and significant interaction with leadership across key functional areas, and will be coached by leaders with deep strategic and financial expertise. Candidates must have strong communication skills/high EQ, a knack for forging close professional relationships, and a track record of positively influencing business performance. The ideal candidate is results-driven, a consummate team player, possesses a strong drive to exceed personal goals, and is naturally inclined to identify opportunities and anticipate risks, take ownership of challenges, and make sound decisions.

This is a NYC based position (not remote)

What You'll Do

• Develop and prepare insightful data-oriented analyses on a recurring and ad-hoc basis to communicate business performance to key internal stakeholders
• Inform and educate senior leadership of strategic activity, including M&A opportunities, industry assessments and growth initiatives
• Identify, research and evaluate potential M&A targets
• Build and develop financial models, including clinical and operational models, 5-year projection models, and valuation models
• Work cross-functionally across the organization to develop new analytical tools for understanding the business, and seek to discover relationships between available data and results
• Model proposed relationships with business partners

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in business, finance, economics or similar strongly preferred, but will also look at candidates that have good experience
• 3+ years in investment banking plus private equity/investing required
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
