Our client offers competitive compensation and benefits package which includes employee stock ownershipResponsibilities:Responsible for the efficient management of assigned operations to meet present and future goals forThe Operations Manager will do this by building a team of supervisors that are dedicated to meeting the annual goals for the plant. Supervise Value Stream and Center of Excellence Supervisors.Specific Duties:Direct and guide the production of operationsProvide Cross-functional leadership for the entire team (operations, planning, quality, manufacturing engineering, etc.).Responsible for developing general operating plans and manufacturing policyComplete budget responsibility for operationsLead Safety efforts to include administering safety procedures, safety inspections, safety training, safety awareness and maintenance of records.Resolve safety, production, quality, scrap, incentive and maintenance problems by communicating with subordinates, supervisors, and support functions.Implement Lean Manufacturing throughout areas of responsibility to improve factory velocity and customer lead-timeMeet annual operating plan objectives for shipment dollars, productivity savings, inventory turns, customer service targets, quality, absorption/spending and Lean Transformation.Qualifications:Education: 4-year degree desired and or at least 10 years of operations/manufacturing/materials management requiredExperience: Supervisory experience in a manufacturing organization requiredOther Skills/Knowledge/Experience:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principlesGreen or Black Belt Certified preferred.Strong understanding of Financial Accounting for a manufacturing environment is very important.Ability to lead and manage in a matrix org structureStrong understanding of assembly operationsCustomer CentricNesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
