**Role Purpose**

**Position Overview**

The Portfolio Operations team is a group of business analysts that are responsible for business requirement identification and documentation. This role will report into the Sr. Director of Portfolio Operations in the Change Delivery organization. As part of the larger Change Delivery team, this position will partner with cross functional teams to outline business needs, identify areas for process/workflow improvements, and translate business priorities to the technology teams. This role partners closely with the Peacock Operational teams, including Editorial, Content Operations and Programming, Marketing, Ad Operations, Data, and Technology and reports into the Senior Director of Portfolio Operations & Intake within Change Delivery.

**Responsibilities**

Overall Responsibilities

* Mentor and manage a team of Business Analyst(s) supporting their goals and growth by coaching them through projects and new challenges

* Bring organization and structure to the team by establishing repeatable processes and managing team capacity planning in collaboration with the Sr Director of Portfolio Operations

* Influence adoption of new processes, always driving towards operational efficiencies across all business units

* Partner with cross functional business units to gather, analyze, and document requirements that accurately reflect business needs

* Identify short- and long-term solutions, and build out timelines to support requirement implementation

* Create PowerPoint presentations which convey and clarify solutions to cross functional business units and senior leadership

* Proactively identify areas of risk in order to predict and prevent challenges by asking pertinent, targeted lines of questioning

* Pinpoint upstream and downstream system dependencies, risks and mitigation strategies for business workflows

* Identify and diagram process maps in support of new/revisions to business unit workflows

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelors degree or higher

- 5+ years experience working as a business analyst, or across digital media functions, including content, marketing, business development, technology, ad sales, data and research

- Proficient and experienced with creating BRDs

- An attention to detail while reviewing requests for completeness and quality

- Ability to organize meetings including creating pertinent agendas, managing conversations and stakeholder expectations, and summarizing the results into a set of decisions made and next steps

- Prior managerial experience
