Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Job DescriptionResponsible for maintaining, servicing, and operating all facility equipment and fixtures. Assists in maintaining the overall working condition and appearance of building and grounds of facility while maintaining a safe environment.Responsible for performing, maintaining, repairing, and operating facilities grounds equipment and fixtures, such as: heating, cooling, plumbing, water, gas, electrical, mechanical, communications equipment, carpentry, painting, laminating, laundry and kitchen equipment, fire systemsMaintenance Worker is responsible for the general maintenance and grounds keeping of the site. Performs semi-skilled maintenance to non-mechanical equipment as instructed.Answers assigned daily maintenance requests consisting of:Does assigned preventive maintenance workDoes construction work when requiredDisplays proficiency in the use of hand and some power toolsWill assist and do any kind of work related to the functions of the Site Maintenance Department if requiredAdditional Job DescriptionStays productive between assigned tasksAble to work independently and show initiative to accomplish goals of the department and organizationKeeps work and storage areas neatTools and equipment are kept clean and operableWork is completed within a time frame acceptable to the supervisorAdheres to established procedures and rules; reports for work regularly and timelyOperates company vehicle and works at multiple locationsRequirements:Valid clean NYS Drivers LicenseAt least 2 years of experience in maintenanceHigh School Diploma or GEDPay Range:$17.25 - $25.00Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
