QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Mechanical/electrical trade background, Journeyman or equivalent technical school background desired
Relevant Work Experience
2 years manufacturing or distribution experience; maintenance professional experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Certification / Licensure
Additional
Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment
Basic skill level in multiple computer software packages including Microsoft Excel
Willing to travel at least/up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight.
Able to read blueprints and shop drawings and the ability to generate rough sketches as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or equivalent preferred
Relevant Work Experience
Have a working knowledge of CMMS is a plus.

Graduate of an apprenticeship program or hold current trade certification.

Computer Skills, demonstrate basic knowledge of the CMMS system, able to locate parts in inventory, identify work orders completed in a particular asset.
Able to read blueprints and shop drawings and the ability to generate rough sketches as needed.
Basic electrical knowledge, demonstrate ability to use electrical tools including electrical test meters.
Ability to operate machinery such as lathes, mills, drill presses.
