Where you'll work:

Niagara Falls, NY location produces organic salts, including propionates and acetates, serving Pharmaceutical, Food, Feed and Technical Industries. With this long-standing and fully automated manufacturing site, Kerry offers world class quality products to a global market. Our products fill vital needs in a broad range of applications that are essential to everyday life including food preservation, antibiotic formulation, dialysis treatment, energy production and more.

$34.13/hour; $5,000 sign on bonus; start out at 8 hour day shifts, after 120 days switch to 12 hour rotating shifts (6 am 6 pm; 6 pm 6 am). OT offered, not mandatory

What you'll do:

Performing services to property and equipment as prescribed to maintain the plant.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

The job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Pipefitting
  • Machining
  • Mechanical repairs to equipment
  • Welding and brazing
  • Building service and repairs
  • Installation of equipment and supports
  • Housekeeping
  • Various types of work necessary to support operations of the plant
  • Analyze problems and troubleshoot equipment to effect resolution
  • May be required to move or lift 50lbs.

    • Qualifications and skills

    There are a few requirements you will need to be safe and successful in this job.

    • Education: High school or equivalent
    • Required Knowledge: Rigging, welding theory, pipefitting, pump repair

    • Experience Needed: Journeyman, Plant Maintenance, Mechanic or equivalent
