Maintenance Engineer (Manhattan)

Great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support a non-profit sports and fitness organization!

Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a leading high-end sports and fitness non-profit organization. The organization is looking for two experienced Maintenance Engineers to support its Manhattan location.

Your new role

The job duties of the Maintenance Engineers will include, among others:

• Oversight of maintenance activities at a sports complex in Manhattan
• Facilities Maintenance - HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical systems
• Oversee safety alarms and systems
• Support for an Olympic-sized pool, in addition to the rest of the sports complex
• Daily site walk-throughs, hands-on maintenance and repairs of the building and grounds

What you ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

• Strong experience with both Facilities maintenance and engineering
• Q01/Q99 Refrigeration License
• Position #1 Shift required: Sat and Sun 1pm 9pm; Mon, Tues, and Fri 3pm 11pm
• Position #2 Shift required: Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm
• FDNY S-95, S-12, and S-13 certifications (or obtain within 90 days after hire)
• CPO Certified Pool Operator License (or obtain within 90 days after hire)
• Capability to operate in environments that utilize chemicals for pool and cooling tower maintenance

What you'll get in return
