They are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models and systems. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, NY.
Machine Learning Engineer s Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into machine learning problems.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data to prepare it for machine learning algorithms. This may involve data cleaning, feature engineering, and data transformation.
- Select, design, and implement machine learning algorithms and models that best address the problem at hand. Experiment with different algorithms and hyperparameters to optimize model performance.
- Train machine learning models using appropriate techniques such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, or reinforcement learning. Ensure that models generalize well to unseen data and perform robustly in real-world scenarios.
Machine Learning Engineer s Qualifications and Skills
- Strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Spark MLlib.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques, feature selection, and dimensionality reduction.
