SUMMARY

This position assists the Sales team 2-3 days a week with hosting private consultation appointments in our showroom in Tribeca, NYC. This person must have a love and deep knowledge of fine jewelry, have excellent communication and people skills and a professional demeanor as you will be a representation of our brand. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with experience in fine jewelry sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in fine jewelry retail sales
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a self-directed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external decision makers
  • Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite, HubSpot CRM and Shopify
  • Understanding of SKJ brand and products
  • Exemplary self-management skills
  • Excellent communications skills in English
  • Punctuality
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Graduate Gemologist (GG) is a BIG PLUS

JOB RELATED DUTIES:

  • Host private, 45 minute consultation appointments in our showroom; these are often bridal focused
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify opportunities and implement strategies to increase sales; meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Educate customers on our products, how to care for them, and with selecting the right piece
  • Help customers place orders either in the showroom or online following their appointment
  • Take detailed notes during appointments and send to customers following the appointment
  • Manager order processing; submit orders, monitor lead-time and shipments; coordinate with production.
  • Utilize our CRM for customer outreach and follow ups
  • Assist with scheduling appointments as needed
  • Assist with various showroom sales and events as needed
