Disney Theatrical Group is looking for a Licensing Materials Coordinatorto join the Licensing department. As the Materials Coordinator, Music & Materials, you will facilitate creation and maintenance of all materials to support Disney's musical theatre and play catalogue of licensed titles for elementary and middle school aged students, amateur theatre productions, and professional theatre productions in the U.S. and Canada.The main responsibilities of this role will focus on the line management and overall workflow of printed and digital materials for Disney's musical theatre catalogue of licensed titles-including scripts, scores, educational materials, and supporting content. The ideal candidate is an expert at managing multiple projects, has advanced music literacy, is familiar with theatrical scripts and scores publication, and possesses a collaborative spirit.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the production and manufacturing of all theatrical licensing content and materials.
    • Includes scripts, scores, orchestrations, digital assets, support materials, marketing materials, etc.
  • Proofread all content for Licensing materials, including scripts and musical scores.
  • Create and maintain digital ShowKits and other digital/downloadable materials developed for Licensing materials.
  • Manage content production process for IP and content developed for Licensing.
    • Work with various departments and stakeholders to compile and implement content and feedback.
  • Manage continuity and maintenance of Disney Theatrical Licensing catalog.
    • Manage upkeep of internal files and organization of scripts, scores, and other materials
    • Manage continuity and production of print, web, and other marketing collateral
    • Manage production of conference exhibit materials, including collateral and exhibit booths
    • Develop and create brand guidelines for each title, including accompanying artwork
    • Track errors and content changes across all files and external stakeholders
  • Manage supply chain and inventory in distributors' warehouses and maintain availability of titles.
    • Act as conduit between Hal Leonard, MTI, Samuel French, and Disney Theatrical Group
Required Qualifications:
  • In-depth musical knowledge-ability to read and proofread music notation is a must
  • Ability to track multiple projects and timelines simultaneously with rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to work in multiple work styles and different teams
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Office, PowerPoint, Finale
  • Advanced project management & communication skills

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Work Experience: 2-3 years work experience in related field.
The hiring range for this position in New York is $51,300 to $66,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
