The Licensed Practical Nurse assists with assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. The LPN performs therapeutic nursing measures with accuracy, safety and efficiency consistent with current nursing standards. Qualifications / Job Requirements:Education / Skills Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Must possess a current NYS License. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology. Previous experience as Licensed Practical Nurse preferred, with the ability to satisfactorily complete training program. Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patient s families, staff and management. Must be highly motivated, able to work outside the normal working hours as volume demands. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
