L1 Service Desk Technician wanted for a contract to hire position located onsite in Pearl River NY with our global IT client. Be a part of a great growing team. 2 interviews. Minimum of 2 years' experience required.
Hours: either 9-5 EST or 8-4 EST will support EST hours
The Service Desk Technician will assist end-users through phone and ticketing requests. This position also involves resolving issues with domain credentials, hardware, operating system, and software, managing shared software and hardware for the department, and tracking and assigning helpdesk tickets.
YOUR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot support issues 50%
Review and assign incoming ticket requests 25%
Process documentation 10%
Monitor phone support requests 10%
Collaborate with co-workers and team meetings 5%
Other duties may be assigned.
