Responsibilities
Supporting our attorneys and paralegals by scheduling appointments, calendaring deadlines and court dates, opening new matters and archiving completed matters, saving documents and organizing files
Supporting our office manager with day-to-day management of office operations including inventorying and ordering supplies, communicating with vendors, developing and implementing workflows, accounting and billing, developing practice management automations, and marketing
Conducting initial interviews of potential new clients
Skills
Strong computer/technology skills and the ability to quickly learn new applications (relevant applications include: MS Office Suite, LEAP, Lawmatics, Lexis Advance, Lexis Automated Templates, QuickBooks Online)
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Patience, compassion, confidence, and professionalism
The ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is essential.
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills are essential
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Must be a self-starter and team player
Basic understanding of legal terminology or the ability to quickly learn

Qualifications
3-5 years of experience working in a law firm, legal services organization, or governmental organization as a legal assistant or similar role
Bachelor s degree

$60,000 - $70,000.00 annual salary depending on experience and ability
