Job Description:

Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Pine Management, Inc. is currently seeking a Leasing and Administrative Property Manager to join our team. Pine Management, Inc. has over 50 years of experience as owners and operators of multi-family property and is currently looking to expand the portfolio. At this time the portfolio consists of 38 properties in New York City.

The right candidate should be a motivated, detail-oriented professional who works well as a team player and can operate in a fast-paced office. You will have the opportunity to work with seasoned professionals in a collaborative environment. The candidate must be a quick learner and have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Docusign, Yardi, Teams), as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Prospect management, which includes, but is not limited to: sending out broker blasts, showing apartments, maintaining company website and listings, managing leasing board.

Leasing, which includes, but is not limited to: screening applicants, preparing and entering leases, coordinating deal closings, and lease renewal management.

Completing move-in postings for new residents, ensuring the accuracy of prorated rent charges, concessions, security deposits, and receipts in accordance with the terms of executed lease agreements.

Tenant correspondence, which includes, but is not limited to: general inquiries, billing inquiries, repair requests, etc.

Optimization of tenant satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations, communication, and customer service initiatives.

Accounting procedures, which includes, but is not limited to: accurately reporting and entering tenant payments received, correcting ledgers, processing payables, coordinating the security deposit cycle from inception through refund, preparing tenant account analysis and reconciliations for tenant disputes; tracking of aged receivables, ensuring delinquent letters, and balance due letters are delivered, as needed; completing all move-out statements, ensuring proper charges and credits with supporting documentation; leading rent collection efforts and submitting any balances due to collections.

Managing vendor documents, which includes, but is not limited to: approving new vendors, keeping certificates of insurance and workers compensation documents up to date.

Administrative tasks, which includes, but is not limited to: filing and organizing, ordering office supplies, coordinating calendar invites, managing social media platforms and job postings.

The right candidate should possess the following:

Robust organizational and administrative skills

Strong computer skills; proficiency in all Microsoft Office products

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Professional demeanor

Must be a quick-learner with strong written, verbal, and analytical skills

NYC Pay Transparency Law: minimum = $33.65/hour ($70,000) / maximum = $43.27/hour ($90,000)
