Develop and maintain a rolling resource workplan for Electric Transmission and Distribution, including projected planned maintenance activities, from one month to ten years for internal operations groups as well as associated work to be outsourced.

* Work in close liaison with Program/Project Management/Project Development/Project Controls and Asset Management to ensure the Long-Term Portfolio is properly loaded with resources identified (internal vs external).

* Build the annual work plan with presentations to Program Management, Operations & Resource Coordination. Hand off to key stakeholders for delivery.

* Build, manage, maintain, and align the rolling Long Term project portfolio and resource plan, including forecasting resource requirements based on various budget scenarios.

* Assess resourcing needs for future workloads; identify gaps and advise stakeholders on work shift options; assist in making decisions when project labor is being considered for outsourcing.

* Update Project Schedules in P6 for outer years, as required. This excludes financial forecasting.

* Create & update Program & Blanket Schedules in P6. This includes annual updates to the financial forecasts to align with the budget.

* Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders in order to share best practice and understand and challenge business decisions.

* Monitor and review portfolio data, updating where necessary in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to timely and accurate information.

* Challenge existing ways of working and continuously seek ways to do things better in order to drive greater efficiencies within assigned areas. This includes preparing charts, graphs, and detailed statistical analysis related to budget and resource plan.

****Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required****

* Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative, integrity and ability to interact with company personnel, contractors, regulatory representatives, and town/city officials in a positive collaborative manner.

****Qualifications****

* A Bachelor's degree in a related area and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent work program or project management experience.

* In lieu of degree, a minimum of 15 years of work experience of which 5 plus years are in a program or project management role.

* Working knowledge and experience in program management principles, tools and techniques including budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling.

* Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

* Project management software knowledge a plus. (Primavera P6)
