Check in patients, and charge entry at the Arrhythmia Center.

**Duties/Responsibilities:**

* Verifies accuracy of patient insurance and demographic information.

* Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtain any missing information.

* Perform posting charges in a timely fashion

* Organize and assign duties and tasks to front office team members.

* Organize workflow and trained new staff on front desk policies and procedures

* Oversee front office collection of copayments and balance daily deposits

* Responsible for release of the information to insurance carriers for chart review/audits

* Evaluate performance of front office team members and conduct verbal and written performance evaluations.

* Maintain supplies

* Monitor daily performance of front desk team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently and timely.

* Responds to requests for information and telephone inquiries from patients, insurance carriers, and outside agencies in a courteous manner.

* Answering all front desk staff inquiries and provide training

* Run reports as needed

* Meets productivity standards

* Performs other related duties as requested

**Position Requirements and Qualifications:**

* One year of Lead or supervisory experience preferred

* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

* Ability to handle more than one task at the same time.

* Ability to communicate effectively with insurance carriers, patients, and co-workers

* Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
