We are retained by a global leader in the industrial manufacturing space with a drive for sustainability and inclusivity. This organization is searching for a Lead Engineer who will help drive a turnaround in one of their fastest growing manufacturing sites in North America. The Lead Engineer will play an integral role in shaping and guiding the future of the Engineering team at this facility.
The ideal candidate is an individual who is collaborative and communicative, who can take a hands-on approach to creating a team environment, and who has experience driving results in a manufacturing environment. They are searching for someone with a strong industrial manufacturing background who is a strong leader to junior engineers.
Essential Functions:
-Drives Engineering success through collaboration with engineers and other functions in the facility.
-Clear understanding and emphasis on safety measures while driving improvements throughout the manufacturing environment.
-Continuous improvement mindset and clear understanding of lean processes.
-Works effectively with cross-functional teams and encourages an environment of cooperation.
-Displays passion for growing safety awareness in the organization, striving for best-in-class culture in all areas of performance.
Requirements:
-Bachelor s Degree in an engineering field or similar work experience
-A minimum of 4+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
-In-depth experience within End-to-End Supply Chain Management (SCM) working with procurement, global SCM and customers.
-Strong technical skillset in electrical engineering or electronics / familiar with sensors, hand tools, and other assembly components.
