The Lead Concierge is the immediate supervisor of daytime and evening concierge employees. The Lead Concierge will adhere to all the duties of the Concierge position as well as perform additional duties that will ensure Front Desk efficiency for both residents and staff. The Concierge is the official representative of the community, responding to all inquiries and requests at the Front Desk, and greeting all visitors to the community.

2. Greet residents and visitors when they enter the community.

3. Answer the telephone, and handle all inquiries.

4. Ensure that an organized, welcoming, and clean environment is maintained in the lobby, porch and community rooms on the first floor.

5. Monitor safety and security of the building to include emergency calls and door security system.

6. Maintain appropriate log books at front desk (Sign-In/Out Log, Guest Meals, Newspaper subscriptions, Beauty Shop appointments). Distribute newspapers.

7. Manage work schedule for all Concierge staff so that the Front Desk is covered at all times.

8. Arrange training for new Concierge employees, including designing a training manual for new hires.

9. Maintain announcement board as well as an adequate supply of fully assembled marketing materials.

10. Support the Business Office Manager and other administrative staff as needed.

11. Keep current with state and facility required annual training.

12. P erform other duties as assigned .

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

**Education** :

High school or GED equivalent.

**Experience** :

Two years in a customer service role.

**Skills** :

Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in Excel and Word.

Able to read, speak, and understand English at a 12th grade level or higher.

**WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

Ability to hear, speak, bend, stoop, stand, reach, push, and pull as needed.

Ability to walk up/down up to four flights of stairs.

Able to sit continuously.

**Other Requirements:**

Professional attire required.
