Lead Broadcast Events Technician (A/V)

Overview: Seeking a candidate with 5-10 years of experience in providing AV setup/breakdown and operational support for live onsite events and productions, as well as maintaining AV infrastructure equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with onsite event planners to provide AV support for various events
- Serve as the AV technical liaison to procure and satisfy client requirements
- Coordinate coverage for events with team members
- Maintain and operate the AV head-end control room
- Troubleshoot and address any AV operational issues
- Provide documentation for AV equipment and systems
- Oversee and maintain all conference rooms to ensure proper operation of AV equipment
- Recommend and implement upgrades when appropriate
- Work closely with the Technical Operations Director to convey project status and ensure proper AV coverage for all events and conference rooms
- Assist Opening/Closing bell ceremony directors to ensure A/V signage components are functional
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience and formal training
- Experience working in a real-time environment
- Must be able to work beyond normal business hours and various shifts
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Comfortable with PC hardware and standard Microsoft Office applications
- Extron, Crestron, Lutron, Biamp, Shure, Digital Signage, Polycom knowledge/experience is a plus
