**Description**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls

* Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and weed whackers.

* Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs

* Prune, trim, and remove trees, shrubs, and hedges

* Trim and pick flowers, and clean flowerbeds.

* Water lawns, trees, and plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.

* Transport team members and equipment to job sites

* Comply with all Great Escape Resort policies and procedures

* Assist Guests with general questions as well as any other guest concerns

* Operate in a safe manner

* Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members

* Follow all delegated tasks assigned by supervisors and/or other members of management

* Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

**Skills and Qualifications:**

* Must be at least 18 years old

* Must have a valid drivers license

* Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time, as well as often lift and carry 50 pounds

* Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State, and facility labor laws and guidelines

* Must be a team player

* Must be friendly and outgoing

**Other Functions****:** All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.
