Laboratory TechnicianRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:* Proficient at performing standard laboratory and applications testing.* Ability to make detailed observations of lab tests and to accurately record the data and observations in a laboratory notebook and in spreadsheets.* Ability to manage laboratory workflow for multiple, concurrent applications projects.* Communicate results, observations, and work progress to supervisor.* Work with low to moderately hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety procedures and practicesJob RequirementsREQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum 5+ years relevant experience working as a laboratory bench technician in a chemical related applications area. Advanced degree preferred.* Strong data observation and interpretation skills.* Computer skills and math aptitude.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.* Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to compare data, and detect inconsistencies.* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and positively with supervisor, peers, and across functions.* Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple work deadlines.The right candidate will have the following skills.Strong Bench testing skillsExperience with either Paints, oils, lubricants or lotionsMust have at least 2 years of Applications Testing
