Duties:- Create and apply labels to products according to specifications and guidelines.
- Ensure accurate placement and alignment of labels on packaging
- Operate label application equipment and machinery
- Monitor label inventory and request replenishment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
- Perform quality checks to ensure labels are legible and properly placed.
Requirements:- Extensive experience in computer software applications related to label design.
- Must have extensive experience in label making machines and printing operations.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail software and use of appropriate software tools such as MS Office suite, AutoCAD, Adobe Professional products (i.e. Acrobat. Illustrator, InDesign), etc.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and hand tools
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong organizational skills to manage label inventory
Note: Prior experience as a Label maker or in a similar role is required.Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to $18/hrSchedule:
- Day Shift/ 8 hour shift (Monday- Friday) with potential overtime opportunities
Experience:
- Label maker: 2 years (Required)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
- Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
