Junior Staff Accountant
About the Company/Opportunity:
- Stable non-profit organization focused on arts and science expanding rapidly. Added three members in accounting department in under one year! Position open due to growth!
- Hybrid position, 2-3 days on site in Red Hook Brooklyn, with flexibility, 9-5 or 10-6 schedule offered. Ample street parking

Responsibilities of the Junior Staff Accountant:
- Full cycle accounts payable, volume will depend on season, as of now, approximately 20-30 per week
- Recording donations into Sage Intacct
- Assist with monthly closing reports as it relates to revenue
Experience Preferred of the Junior Staff Accountant:
- Bachelors Degree preferred; or 1 year of working experience
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Basic/Intermediate Excel
