Dose is seeking a talented and creative Junior Social Media Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our content team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp on social media trends, a keen eye for detail, ability to think on their feet, and strong technical skills in both video editing and graphic design (motion & static). This role will work closely with the Video Producer to execute shoot production, organize media, and refine and reformat cuts. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the entire content team to produce compelling visual content across paid and organic channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and editing of video content for various platforms, including paid advertising and organic social media, ensuring high-quality production standards and brand consistency.
  • Edit user-generated content (UGC) style videos from raw footage from creator campaigns, turning them into compelling videos that engage and captivate our audience.
  • Reformatting existing video assets to fit additional aspect ratios while maintaining integrity and attention to detail in original video.
  • Act as the right hand to Video Producer on set in bimonthly production days, helping to prep materials, set up shots, take script notes, and maintain schedule.
  • Sort and organize all raw media after each shoot, and source audio and stock footage, when necessary.
  • Create motion graphics to enhance video content and storytelling.
  • Create still graphics and visual assets for social media posts, paid media, email, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop creative concepts for video projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing, graphic design, and wellness-related content.
  • Design and develop deck templates for both internal and external use, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines for consistent branding and messaging.
  • Handle a variety of design-related projects as needed, adapting to evolving creative requirements and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and typography.
  • Experience creating content for paid media isn t required, but strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Robust understanding of and ability to work within our brand guidelines and voice, ensuring consistency and alignment across all communication and creative outputs.
  • Ability to stay current with social media trends, and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in video editing and graphic design in the brand space is a plus.
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio of relevant work.
  • Able to travel to HQ in Miami if needed.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary Range: $60k-$70k

Reports to: Head of Content

Location: New York, NY (Remote, on set for production days)
