**SUMMARY**

This position is responsible for assisting senior team members in thedevelopment and maintenance of business relationships with assigned accounts. The incumbent is knowledgeable about the market and the Firms products and services. The position develops customer relations and product knowledge, distributes research concepts, coordinates marketing of Firms products and builds brand awareness of Firm.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Assist team in reaching commission goals and work to attain them through customer contact (travel, phone, e-mail, etc.) that ultimately generate new business.

* Review all securities transactions to ensure accuracy of information and that trades conform to regulations of governing agencies.

* Develop an understanding and knowledge of High Yield Credit through discussions with research analysts and sales and trading desk.

* Maintain client relationships by providing access to Stifel Research, facilitate the marketing of client orders and trade ideas and provide individualized services based on team requests.

* Attend research meetings to obtain and evaluate sales ideas. Disseminate information to trading desk for the purpose of generating securities transactions.

* Establish, develop and maintain constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with clients, and maintain them over time.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Minimum Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent in related field.

* Minimum Required: 0-3 years of Industry experience such as internships, financial services related experience.

* Minimum Required: Obtain Series 7 & 63 within 4 months from date of hire.

* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, and Industry standard trade capture and risk management systems.

* Strong Organizational Skills Ability to multi-task and successfully perform in a fast-paced environment. Fervent Work Ethic Demonstrating strong desire to enhance product knowledge and sales and marketing techniques.

* Resourcefulness Being effective with limited information to complete tasks

* Social Perceptiveness Being aware of the reaction of others and understanding why these reactions occur.

* Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems in a timely manner.

* Sales & Marketing Demonstrates a solid understanding of all sales & marketing principles, strategies and tactics.
