Job Summary
This position requires a variety of jewelry making skills, including a proficient working knowledge of platinum and gold. The jeweler must have excellent soldering skills and experience with both Laser Welder and Tacking-machine.
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Experience working with a microscope
- Fabricate handmade settings
- Asemble modelled jewelry pieces
- Solder with platinum and gold
- Use the laser welder
- Clean castings
- Adhere to scheduled completion dates and special projects as required.
Job Qualifications
- High School and/or Jewelry School diploma or equivalent and/or apprenticeship program including learning on the job
- At least 3 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing, especially working with platinum
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be highly motivated
- Highly organized with attention to detail is imperative
