**Length**: 1 year with potential extension

We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nations biggest companies. Our client has a need for an IT End User Support. This is a contract position; however, it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Lorien as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

**IT End User Support**

**Job Responsibilities**

* Provide 1st /2nd line in person support for Local Site IT services. Monitor and respond to incoming IT tickets, resolving, assigning, and escalating as necessary. Manage and/or monitor assigned ticket queues to effective resolution.

* Respond to tickets/calls promptly and politely. Ensure customers are kept updated on their Service Requests and Incidents.

* Progress Incidents and Requests efficiently and effectively following our ITIL processes. Be proactive and take ownership of user problems.

* Assess the business impact of Incidents by asking appropriate questions, prioritizing those Incidents, and escalating to the relevant IT member when required.

* Troubleshoot various hardware and software user issues remotely and in person

* Create and update user accounts in Active Directory

* Resolve issues or provide workarounds utilizing solid technical knowledge to ensure a high level of 1st time fix and excellent customer satisfaction.

* Manage multiple incoming priorities effectively by understanding customer/business needs and meeting service level requirements.

* Create regular and ad hoc reports using exports from key tools/data.

* Setup and support of laptops and desktops.

* Produce documentation / knowledge base articles and update when necessary.

* Conduct user training sessions.

**IT End User Support**

**Job Requirements**

As an IT End User Support, you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual, and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

* Computer Science (or equivalent) degree, advanced degree preferred

* 3 -5 years experience in an Enterprise environment

* ITLT IT Service Delivery certification desirable

* Experience in desktop and mobile technologies

* Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills

* Good Business Relationship skills

* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for applications including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Office, Project, Visio, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services

* Excellent working knowledge of collaboration applications such as Webex and Skype for Business

* Web development utilizing Visual Studio IDE

* Experience in MSSQL and MySQL databases

* Plan and coordinate comprehensive testing of new applications and or upgrades

* Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Command Shell

* Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in applications, systems, processes, and services. Execute logical and complex troubleshooting methods. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.

* Assists with the specification, development, research, and evaluation of application
