About the Role:

We are seeking an IT Manager to oversee all IT functions at our Manhattan site, now supporting an 80-person team, while providing remote support to our other locations. This role builds on the previous IT Desktop/User Support Specialist II position, expanding responsibilities to encompass full IT site management, including strategic operations and comprehensive support across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary IT contact for all site-related issues, providing both onsite and remote support to our offices including New York and Los Angeles, with an emphasis on user support, management, and strategy implementation.

Manage the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of desktops, MAC and PC laptops, mobile devices, software, printers, and associated peripherals.

Administer our IT infrastructure, including on-site servers, cloud services such as Azure and Office 365, and various business applications.

Provide hands-on technical support and perform software and hardware upgrades, maintaining documentation of all systems and adhering to best practices.

Oversee local and global network systems, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall configurations, ensuring high availability and security.

Develop and enforce IT security protocols, manage daily IT support tickets, and proactively handle IT emergencies and system outages.

Lead IT projects, including technology upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts, while managing vendor relationships and the IT equipment inventory.

Additional Responsibilities:

Research, evaluate, and implement technical solutions to enhance IT support capabilities, including virtual environments and cloud migrations.

Serve as essential personnel, ready to report during emergencies, after-hours, or special closings to maintain IT systems.

Qualifications:

Experience as an IT Administrator or IT Manager, with extensive support service background in Windows and Mac PC environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Windows 10/11 OS, Microsoft Office suite, and Apple/MacOS.

Exceptional troubleshooting skills with extensive experience in video conferencing systems, network management, and security configurations.

Strong organizational and decision-making skills, capable of managing complex IT issues and projects independently.

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, ITIL 4 Foundation, or similar.
