The IT Director will provide leadership, coordination, and hands-on expertise with Global ERP, Warehouse and distribution, and integration with commercial applications in the areas of application governance, architecture, design, build/development, testing, warranty, and operations. Significant cross technical experience in global ERP, warehouse/distribution, Supply chain, commercial platform integration, and cloud solutions is expected. Aptitude to learn and apply new technologies is an absolute must-have.
The candidate will coordinate with PMO Lead, Support Leads, Global Process Owners, and Operations, to drive the ERP and Supply Chain Solutions in the warehouse/distribution area, Global transportation and trade management, Intercompany logistics, Planning through end to end delivery and completion. Responsible to drive the System Integrator(s) to ensure alignment of key program activities and milestones for solution delivery. Oversees and ensures completion of all business and program cut-over activities. Drives informed decision-making for large cross-functional projects.
The candidate will drive to ensure that all activities are completed to scheduled scope, quality, timeliness, budgets, and program deliverables. Will be deeply involved in elevating the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the organizations global program delivery capability. Provide hands-on leadership and supervision to program teams globally, support teams, and IT vendors. Be highly customer-focused, and provide input on best practices and industry benchmarks.
* Manage a geographically dispersed team of Solution Analysts, Solution Leads, Solution Architect and Delivery Leads responsible for Supply Chain capabilities and solutions, which include, but are not limited to, SAP warehouse/distribution, SAP EWM, and IM, Global transportation, and trade management including Inventory Management, and material management.
* Work closely with GIO business partners, Sustain organization GPGO, Supply chain business leaders, and customers to identify, prioritize, scope, and implement Supply chain warehouse, distribution, and transportation management solutions.
* Perform activities following Strykers Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes
* Aligns on Technical Designs, Prototypes/Mock-ups, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within the commercial and ERP application stack
* Creates, coordinates, and influences the deployment communication plans, including Go Live readiness, change management, cutover, and stabilization
* Manages and coordinates with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed-upon timelines, and quality and service metrics.
* Responsible for platform strategy, alignment to business strategy, and collaboration with Enterprise Architecture
* Working with PMO, Delivery Leads, Process Leads, and Change management, develop standards, tools, and systems to effectively and efficiently manage the deployment of the commercial products across Stryker divisions, functions, and regions
* Ensure the value and ROIs is achieved as anticipated for every investment and implementation from the outsourced vendor, and the overall services are delivered as expressed in the Statement of Work and related exhibits, service levels the software products are maintained and continually improved, and any problems with the day-to-day delivery of services provided by the vendor are minimized.
* Works closely with IT Service Delivery teams to ensure implementation of post-production support model and processes
* Manage new investment application budgets and portfolio/program/project prioritization process
* Own resolution of issues, working with Enterprise Architecture, solution architects, infrastructure, and service provider management teams as necessary
* Communication within IT teams is critical for both day-to-day events and building out new solutions
* Ensures timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks to ensure a smooth deployment process
* Partners with the IT Governance team to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation including but not limited to computer systems validation, SOX, and PM standards
* Develop and build robust integration with Infrastructure, Security, Governance, Service Delivery, etc.
* Conducts lessons learned after each deployment to continuously improve the deployment process over the course of the program
* Provide guidance and mentoring to Delivery Leads, Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program
* Manages the HR designated tasks for the people within their team
* Financial focus on delivering activities on a budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities, and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.

**Education & special training:**
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical field of study required.
* A Master's degree in MIS, MBA or related disciplines is highly desired.
**Qualifications & experience:**
* Minimum 15 years of professional experience required, with at least 10 years in deploying/delivering ERP and Supply chain applications and solutions.
* Prior experience of a minimum of 10 years designing, building/configuring/customizing, testing, implementation, and rollout of SAP Supply chain in the area of the warehouse, distribution, logistic procurement, planning, and Intercompany and SAP solutions globally is required.
* Demonstrated significant cross technical experience within large consulting firms or corporations leading Global ERP/Supply Chain programs is required.
* The ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control is required.
* The ability to maintain strong relationships within Stryker Divisions and geographies is required.
* The ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications are required.
* Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges are required.
* Versatility and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm are required.
* Experienced in enterprise solution methodologies, preferably in both traditional waterfall and agile approaches is required.
* International experience and/or exposure working in other business functions preferred.
